ABOUT Cynthia
Cynthia became a certified peer support specialist because she has had many struggles in her life that she has survived. Because of her experiences, Cynthia can see the other side of depression, PTSD, and domestic violence. Her favorite saying is, "If I can help just one person make it through--just one day, one hour, or even just one minute--if I can help them get through the heavy stuff, I can make a difference for them. With empathy and understanding, I like to help support others who are struggling."

In recognition of her professional excellence and achievements as a peer support specialist, Cynthia was awarded Priestley Mental Health's 2021 Intervention Excellence Award.
